Miraculous Season 2 Episode 14 Syren
Nadja Chamack reports on several escaped zoo animals running amok in Paris as Ladybug, Cat Noir and their new friend Rena Rouge try to recapture them. Meanwhile, Ondine and Kim are at the swimming pool. Kim wonders what it's like to be a superhero, such as the powers, secrets, and costumes a superhero would wear. Ondine pulls out the note and places it in the case of her bracelet. He then turns to Kim and asks if he wants to know her secret before throwing the bracelet into the water
Kim dives in and takes the bracelet and reads the note inside that says Ondine is very much in love with a boy she has no idea about. Kim is oblivious and says the boy is clueless. He then puts his own note in her bracelet and throws it into the water for Ondine. He reads a note that says Kim can put her toe in his ear. Ondine decides to come clean about who she's crushing on in her next note. Just as Kim is about to open the message, his watch alerts him that he will be late for the movie. Kim tells Ondine that he asked Chloé to go to the movies with him and runs away. Ondine remained at the edge of the pool lamenting that Kim was the one she was in love with.
Hawk Moth's lair opens when Hawk Moth senses Ondina's grief. He notes how many times Ondine has tried to tell "her prince" how she feels, but then has been dismissed before creating an akuma and sending her to akumatize her.
Meanwhile, Cat Noir is chased by a pair of black panthers and he jokingly asks them if they would really eat one of their cousins. Rena Rouge then uses her Mirage power to create a series of steak illusions. The panthers fall through the mirage and are pulled in and trapped in the back of the van. Cat Noir prepares to punch Ladybug and Rena Rouge, but has to leave as Rena Rouge is about to transform back. Distraught, Cat Noir questions how Ladybug can know who Rena Rouge really is when she doesn't. Ladybug explains that she has to return her Miraculous. Cat Noir asks if his role is to be kept in the dark about Ladybug's secrets, and Ladybug says she'll talk to "him" about it. Cat Noir asks who "he" is, but Ladybug says she has to wait until the time is right and leaves with Rena Rouge. Frustrated, Cat Noir declares that he hates secrets.
Rena Rouge soon transforms back into Alya and passes her Miraculous back to Ladybug. Alya offers to reconnect with Ladybug before her phone alerts her that she's late for the movie and she runs off. Ladybug transforms back into Marinette and starts running in the opposite direction of Alya. Tikki advises her to follow Alya's route to get to the cinema, but Marinette decides to skip the trailers again. Overhead, an akuma flies into the pool and attaches itself to Ondine's bracelet. Hawk Moth offers Ondine the power to turn Paris into an underwater kingdom for her and her prince in exchange for Ladybug and Cat Miraculouses. Ondine accepts the deal and transforms into Syren, whose tears then fall into the pool, causing it to overflow.
Kim runs to the cinema, where Max and Markov are waiting for him. Kim asks if Chloé came, but Max jokingly asks if he really thought she was coming to see Mecha Monkey Vs. Cyber Sharks 3. Alya runs up to the two boys and asks if Marinette is late too, which Max confirms. Alya stands outside waiting for Marinette as Max, Kim, and Markov enter the theater, Max promising to save the girls seats. Meanwhile, water is leaking out of the swimming pool building.
Marinette returns Fox Miraculous Master Fu to his massage shop and Master Fu asks what's bothering her. As they enter the next room, Fu forbids Tikki and Wayzzo from following, as kwami are not allowed to know the recipes that can change their powers in case they are captured like Nooroo. In the next room, Marinette explains that Cat Noir is asking more questions and is tired of being left in the dark, but Fu insists that they have to wait for the right time to tell him the truth, likening it to putting noodles in a boiling pot. water. He then reveals that he is unlocking recipes to give her and Cat Noir new powers; however, he is unable to figure out what the "tear of joy" ingredient is. Thinking the Tear might be honeydew, Fu adds it to his drink, believing he has unlocked underwater powers. When this happens, people run by the Seine as it begins to overflow.
At the Agreste mansion, Adrien is in his room playing with Cat Noir and Ladybug action figures. Adrien expresses his frustration at Ladybug not trusting him through characters. Adrien turns to Plagg and asks if he knows what Ladybug is hiding from him, but Plagg refuses to tell. Adrien then starts offering Plagg to order different types of cheese if he tells the truth.
Back at the massage shop, Fu gives the potion to Wayzz, who believes it to be the one. Excited, Fu tries to induce a transformation in Wayzz, but nothing happens, and Wayzz suggests adding a little more salt. Marinette calls Alya and rushes to the movie theater, leaving Fu and Wayzz behind.
Marinette arrives at the movie theater and enters with Alya, unaware of the water flowing down the streets behind them. Rose, Nino and Juleka wave at Alya and Marinette and they shuffle into their seats. As the movie starts, Marinette notices people running away in fear and realizes that the theater is flooding. Outside the cinema, water is pouring down the streets and flooding them. In Adrien's room, Adrien is still trying to bribe Plagg when he notices the room filling with water. He transforms into Cat Noir.
Marinette runs up to the roof of a building where the others look on to see that all of Paris has been flooded. Markov claims that his circuits are sensitive to water. Unfazed, Kim jumps into the water and says she can teach Mark to swim. A fin swims towards Kim and Syren jumps out of the water and takes him underground. As her friends try to look for Kim, Marinette gets into the water in a recycling bin and paddles away with a shovel, claiming to get help. Alix cynically asks if that means they are saved.
Underwater, Syren grabs Kim and creates an air bubble for him to breathe. Marinette transforms underwater and searches for Kim. He is soon noticed by Ladybug Syren, who accompanies Kim through submerged Paris, much to his astonishment. Ladybug grabs Kim with her yo-yo, but Syren tries to pull it back. Hawk Moth boasts that every new environment brings new rules and Ladybug can't win because she can't breathe underwater. Cat Noir is then seen jumping across the rooftops above the water.
