Miraculous Season 5 Episode 7 Passion
In her bedroom, Marinette tries to convince Alya that she is in love with Cat Noir, explaining that her love for Adrien cost her the Miraculouses, but Cat Noir is her partner who is always there for her and loves her too. Alya points out that he has a crush on Ladybug, but Marinette says it's the same thing. Alya says she'll fall in love with someone else once Adrien falls in love with her, but Marinette says the two are unrelated and leaves for school early and in her pajamas.
Adrien wakes up and repeatedly says dreamily to Marinette. Plagg asks annoyed if he forgot about Ladybug. Adrien says Ladybug doesn't want him and she has the right to choose.
Adrien enters his kitchen where his father is cooking pancakes. Gabriel asks Adrien if he would like some bananas on his pancakes. Adrien complies.
Nathalie hears Adrien's alarm going off and enters his room with a warning that he will be late. When he's not there, she turns off the alarm and runs into the kitchen to find Adrien and his father eating breakfast. He informs Gabriel that Adrien prefers his plain pancakes. Adrien says it's fine, but Nathalie tells him not to push himself because of his father. Gabriel and Nathalie stare at each other aggressively for a moment. Then they both sound the alarm and send Adrien to school. Adrien says he forgot to pack his bag and runs off.
Suddenly, Nathalie pins Gabriel to the table and tells him that she has come to hunt for magical artifacts for Emilia and him. Nathalie then explains how she was his bodyguard, friend and more and now it's all over. He also says that he did what he did out of love for Emilia, but now he's just doing it out of madness and she's only there to protect Adrien from him. Gabriel claims that what he is doing is to make Adrien happy, but Nathalie claims that the only thing Adrien needs to be happy is his father.
Nathalie tells Gabriel that she has to accept that she will never bring Emilie back out of her coma and that even Emilie has accepted her fate. He refuses to believe it. Nathalie tells him to stop joking and tells him about the tapes that Emilie left for them that they both saw. He tells her that he couldn't stand it and why he let Nathalie destroy Emilia's recordings. Gabriel says it's too late and shows her his left arm that Cat Noir cataclysed. Gabriel tells Nathalie that if she doesn't help him take Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculouses and help bring Emilia back, he won't be able to save himself and Nathalie and Adrien will have no one.
Adrien talks to Plagg about how his father and Nathalie are alone and asks him his opinion on giving the ring to Marinette. Adrien then suggests a poem, but Plagg doesn't like his idea. Meanwhile, in Nathalie's room, Nathalie says that what is happening cannot happen. He takes his phone out of the safe and looks at the video that Emilie made. Emilie reckons with Nathalie in the video, saying that her husband is stubborn and won't stop hunting the Miraculous and that Adrien needs them both. Nathalie promises Emilia that she will get Ladybug and Cat Miracles before Agreste does.
Suddenly, Adrien knocks on the door and asks Nathalie how he should express his love to Marinette. Nathalie tells Adrien about her past and tells him that when he liked Gabriel, she discovered that he had feelings for Emilia. She tells him that love was complicated. Adrien becomes concerned and asks her if what happened to his mother will happen to Nathalie, to which she says no. Nathalie tells Adrien to go to school.
In the Crypt, Gabriel talks to Emilia and says how he doesn't know what to do next. Nathalie arrives and tells him he's not alone and reminds him of the promise she made about getting him the magical items he'll need, but she failed to get the Miraculouses Ladybug and Cat Noir. Nathalie says now is the time for her to fulfill her promise. Gabriel tells Nathalie that she risked too much. She asks Gabriel to akumatize her.
Outside the school, Adrien tells Marinette that it's not right and she tells him that being there is enough for someone who is sick. Plagg talks to Tikki about their holders being in love with each other and assures him that everything is fine. A Megakuma sent by Monarch infects a dummy wearing a hunting suit. Monarch akumatizes Nathalie and transfers the essence of the Goat's Miracle to her. Nathalie akumatizes into Safari. She then draws a chest full of hunting gear so she can't miss her prey and lets her know where Ladybug and Cat Noir are. Monarch tells Safari that he can't use more than six powers at once and tells him that he won't make the same mistake he did.
Safari then creates the illusion that Timetagger reappears. Marinette, excited to be reunited with Cat Noir, tells Tikki to focus on defeating the Timetagger instead. Marinette transforms into Ladybug. She and Cat Noir soon appear and Safari uses the gadget to find them. Safari creates a Venom Bolt. Ladybug and Cat Noir start chasing the Timetagger illusion before it disappears. Ladybug is hit by a bolt and Cat Noir uses her powers on the robot only to see four more bolts after it. Cat Noir realizes that Safari is Nathalie and promises to free her.
After escaping the bolts in the sewers, Cat Noir transforms back into Adrien and the bolts leave him alone. Adrien realizes that the lightning was only for Ladybug and him, but not for Mr. Bug and Lady Noire. With Plagg's help, Adrien has Ladybug Miraculous without revealing her secret identity. Adrien explains his plan to Marinette, but suddenly Adrien questions Marinette about combining the two and wanting to right the wrongs of the world. Marinette tells him that a balance between creation and destruction must always be maintained, she is relieved when Adrien decides to switch their Miraculouses. Mr. Bug and Lady Noire discover that their plan has worked.
After destroying all of Safari's belongings except for her suit, Mr. Bug and Lady Noire realize that the megakuma is not on her. Mr. Bug uses his Lucky Charm and receives a bottle of perfume. After seeing an advertisement for a bottle of Agreste brand perfume, Mr. Bug realizes that the akumatized object must be in the Agreste headquarters. While going to Nathalie's room, Lady Noire continues to fight Safari. After destroying the dummy that has the megakum in it, Mister Bug cleanses the megakum and repairs all the damage that was done when Safari was fighting Mr. Bug and Lady Noire. Safari is deakumatized back into Nathalie and they take her to her bed. Gabriel rushes in and asks what happened.
