 At school, while Tom and Marinette are outside the classroom, Adrien has just left the classroom and tries to call his father, but only voicemail answers. Afterwards, Adrien sadly returns to class. Meanwhile, Tom negotiates and Marinette starts giving out free croissants to all her classmates and is sad to see Adrien in so much trouble. When he then reaches Chloe and Sabrina's desk, he witnesses a discussion between the two and Chloe's father, the mayor, regarding an expensive bracelet the girl brought to school; then, as Marinette gives the croissant to Sabrina, Chloé jokes that Marinette's father would have to sell the entire store to buy her a bracelet like that. Ladybug uses her yo-yo to stop Rogercop from shooting the mayor, giving him enough time to get out of the building. However, Rogercop, completely ignoring Chloé trying to get his attention, sees him at the exit and follows him. The ladybug tries to stop him from walking, but he only falls flat on his face. Just as the cops are shooting at André, Cat Noir appears and jumps on his arm, so he fires what appears to be a microchip at the mayor's limo instead. The mayor then gets into his car and drives away.
