Miraculous Ladybug Season 1 Episode 4 Lady Wifi
During class, Alya cuts Berushka's face out of the photo. She holds up a picture of her classmates' faces to look for a perfect match and tries to figure out who Ladybug is. They stop by Chloé, who points to Miss Bustier standing in front of Aly's desk. Once she realizes the whole class is watching her, she puts the picture down. Miss Bustier asks if Marinette is still in the bathroom since she hasn't returned to class. Alya shrugs. When class ends, Miss Bustier gives Alya Marinette homework to turn in.
After school, Alya calls Marinette, but it goes straight to voicemail. Alya then notices Chloé taking several ladybug items out of the locker (including a costume and a ladybug-like yo-ya) and putting them in a bag. Believing Chloé to be Ladybug's secret identity, Alya calls Marinette only to be redirected to voicemail again. She sees Nino and drags him along to explain what she found out. Nino sympathizes with Alya's inability to contact Marinette, as Adrien also disappears for hours when she tries to call him, though Nino blames it on Mr. Agreste's strictness. Alya checks her phone and finds a message that Ladybug has saved Paris again. The news report focuses mainly on Ladybug, with Cat Noir in the background behind reporter Nadja Chamack.
Alya recognizes the yo-yo in Ladybug's hand when Chloé took the yo-yo out of the locker and tells Nino that she figured out Ladybug's secret identity and whispers in Nino's ear: Chloé is Ladybug. Nino laughs at her revelation and says that Chloé is too narcissistic to be a hero.
Marinette arrives home to find that Alya left her bag and tablet with Sabine at the bakery. Alya also left a note telling Marinette to call her because she figured out who Ladybug was. Marinette panics a bit, but when she tries to call Alye back, she finds that she has no signal. She wanders up to the roof to find a worker who tells her they are updating the service. Marinette spends the rest of the day doing homework.
Waking up at her desk the next morning, Marinette realizes she's already an hour late for school. Meanwhile, Nino is still skeptical that Chloé is Ladybug, but Alya lets Chloé distract him while she tries to take pictures of the evidence in Chloé's locker. However, Sabrina and Kim catch Alya snooping and she and Chloé end up in Mr. Damocles' office. Mr. Damocles puts Alya in detention after school, but citing her right to privacy and the school's anti-theft policy, Chloé uses her father's name, Mayor Bourgeois, to blackmail Mr. Damocles into suspending Alya for a week.
Alya runs out of the school just as Marinette runs in, Alya vows to expose Chloé and tarnish her reputation as a ladybug. In his lair, Hawk Moth senses Alya's crying and her anger and sends an akuma her way. Akuma lands on her mobile and transforms her into Lady Wifi.
Marinette sneaks into Miss Bustier's class, but interrupts her by yelling, "What?!" twice when he learns that Alya has been suspended for trespassing in the "Ladybug" locker. Miss Bustier sends Marinette to the Headmaster's office where she finds Mr. Damocles frozen in place with a pink pause sign on his chest. At that moment, Lady Wifi uses the school projector to play her recording. She introduces herself as the liberator of truth and promises to show all of Paris who Ladybug really is. Marinette recognizes Alya from the charm on her phone and turns into Ladybug to save her best friend.
Miss Bustier dismisses her class for their safety. Adrien runs to the bathroom to transform into Cat Noir, reasoning that Lady Wifi will undoubtedly visit Chloé if she really is Ladybug. Later that evening, the cat noir ran on all fours and waited on the rooftop across the street from Le Grand Paris, watching Chloé from the window. He finds her dressed as Ladybug while practicing yo-yo throwing and panics, thinking he may have fallen in love with Chloé. However, the real Ladybug appears next to him and calms him down by explaining that Chloé is just a big fan.
Chloe's cell phone rings. When he answers, Lady Wifi uses her phone to teleport into the room. She freezes Chloé with a pink pause icon and opens the video recording icon to reveal Chloé to the public. Cat Noir and the real Ladybug arrive on the scene, and Lady Wifi realizes her mistake. When she tries to freeze them, they escape to the stairwell, luring her to the basement of the building, where there is no signal.
Lady Wifi catches on to their plan and leaves to set a trap. Ladybug and Cat Noir then run back up all the stairs, only to find that the doors on each floor have a lock icon. Meanwhile, Cat Noir wants him and Ladybug to get to know each other outside of the costume, but she brushes him off as they have more important things to worry about. Finally reaching an unlocked floor, they kick down the door and find themselves in the hotel dining room. There is a telephone on all the tables. They soon discover that Lady Wifi can use them to teleport around the room. Ladybug starts smashing phones with her yoy and Lady Wifi flees to the kitchen where she locks the door, trapping Ladybug in the kitchen with her. Cat Noir uses the service elevator in the cafeteria to get to the kitchen.
Lady Wifi manages to knock Ladybug against the wall and locks her arms. He then opens the video recording icon again and continues trying to unmask the ladybug. It seems to be stuck and won't come off. Just then, Cat Noir arrives in the food elevator to save Ladybug, but Lady Wifi traps him in the freezer and locks the door. The impact knocks the ring off Cat's finger and he transforms back into Adrien, unable to find the ring. Plagg refuses to help Adrien saying it's too cold.
Hawk Moth advises Lady Wifi to force Ladybug to use the Lucky Charm. When her time is up, the video feed will broadcast her detransformation and Lady Wifi can take her Miraculous. Lady Wifi unlocks Ladybug's hands, but leaves the recording on and disappears, leaving her in the kitchen to rescue Cat Noir from the locked freezer.
