The episode opens with TVi reporting on Ladybug and Cat Noir saving Paris once again by defeating a kid named Jean Duparc who was akumatized into the Sorcerer of Misfortune and wanted the Eiffel Tower to disappear in a cloud of smoke. After Ladybug transforms back into her civilian form, Marinette notices that Tikki is sick. Tikki asks her if she can take her to the doctor, but Marinette thinks it's not a good idea to find a doctor for the kwami. Tikki claims to know a healer who can help her, but Marinette is worried that he might be suspicious. Marinette then remembers that she's late for school, so she tells Tikki that she'll take her to the healer when class is over.

In Mrs. Mendeleev's classroom, Rose watches the news on her phone about Prince Ali, the Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Achu, who is on an official visit to Paris to organize a toy drive for children at the city hospital.
