Miraculous Ladybug Season 1 Episode 1 Stormy Weather

 The episode begins with the finale of the KIDZ+ TV competition to find the new weather girl. Two contestants are responsible for everything: Mireille Caquet and Aurore Beauréal. The vote is up to the home viewers.

While the contest is being televised at Marinette's house, Manon Chamack, who Marinette is babysitting, steals Marinette's phone so she can vote for Mireille. Marinette chases Manon around the living room trying to get her phone and hat back. When he gets one thing back, he loses another. Tikki offers Marinette words of encouragement. the bell rings

Alya reveals that Adrien is at the Place des Vosges for a photo shoot. This excites Marinette, but Manon shows up to stop their gossiping about Adrien. Alya offers to take care of Manon while Marinette goes to watch Adrien, but Marinette declines, saying that Manon is her responsibility. Manon runs off, grabs the pots and pans, and makes a noise. Alya helps Marinette calm Manon; she has experience with younger children thanks to her younger sisters Elle and Etta Césair. Manon wonders who Alya is, and Alya replies that she is a unicorn princess from the planet Rispa, currently in human form. Alya picks Manon up, swinging her in the air before placing her on Marinette's shoulders. Together, the three go to the park. Marinette opens it to see Alya.

Stormy weather is not far away. Cat Noir stops her as she leaves the Place des Vosges, throwing a few puns at her while warning her to stop. Angrily, she sends a gust of wind at him and blows him off the park fence; over several buildings; and up to four cars. Ladybug finds him sprawled on the road and offers him her hand. He takes it, gets back on his feet and kisses her hand. She pushes his face away and reminds him that they don't have time for his childish games.

Stormy weather floats up to them and interrupts them. He points the parasol at the sky and clouds appear over Paris. Lightning rains down, aiming for Cat Noir, but Ladybug pounces on him, knocking them both to the side. As they roll, Cat Noir ends up on top of Ladybug and smirks at her maliciously. The ladybug is not amused and turns her head to remind him of the problem. Cat Noir sprints towards Stormy Weather, but freezes the road, making it slippery. He is thrown backwards as she sends another blast towards him.

Cat Noir stays on the street only because of Ladybug, who, thinking quickly, wraps her yo-yo around a lamppost and grabs his tail.

When the wind stops, the heroes fall. Cat Noir bounces back to his feet, ready to chase Stormy Weather, but Ladybug stops him and tells him to think before he leaps. Ladybug then runs up the side of the building. Cat Noir follows on the opposite side of the street. They jump up at the same time and swing their weapons at Stormy Weather. He turns and blows them and many cars several blocks away. The two land and avoid the cars as they fall. Suddenly a bus flies towards them. Ladybug pulls Cat Noir to her and quickly swings her yo-yo as the bus falls on top of them. The yo-yo acts like a drill, leaving the two heroes inside the bus, safe except for Cat Noir, who accidentally hits the ladybug's yo-yo in the head.

At Place des Vosges, the weather is getting worse. Firefighters work with axes to dig out Manon and Alya, but the ice only gets thicker and jagged. Alya can't distract Manon from the fact that the ice is moaning and pulling her back under the merry-go-round, and the fear is visible on both girls.

Stormy weather stops her flight to speak with Hawk Moth. She decides that the world knows about her abilities and that it's time for her to keep her end of the bargain. He tells her about his plan.

Ladybug opens one of the bus windows and holds Cat Noir's wand. Cat Noir extends it allowing Ladybug to step out and then pull him up. A nearby digital billboard turns on, revealing Stormy Weather indicating the weather. It throws the whole of France into eternal winter and it starts to snow. Cat Noir shrugs off her threat, saying that he would look good in a bathing suit. In the same tone, Ladybug replies that the cat suit is good enough. He knows where Stormy Weather is. Cat Noir and Ladybug rush to the KIDZ+ studio together.
