 Marinette is in her bedroom trying to decode the message Master Fu gave her before he left for London. Tikki tells her that it's not a big deal and that Fu put hidden meanings in there to protect the secret of their magical powers. Marinette is still feeling down, but Tikki continues to try to cheer her up by saying that even Master Fu had trouble figuring it out and that she helped him discover the recipe for water power. Afterwards, Marinette regains her confidence. Mullo and Xuppu carry the red apple to Marinette's computer, which turns on the news. Nadja was in the middle of discussing Prince Ali's birthday. Xuppu and Mullo walk around the keyboard trying to carry an apple and switch the channel to Alec preparing an exclusive report on Adrien's life. Marinette watches in awe as Alec talks about Theo, making a statue of Adrien, his modeling career with Vincent, and practicing tongue twisters with Sarah. Marinette then pouted at him and said that Adrien must have a perfect life.

Back in Adrien's room, Adrien is exhausted after the day he had and Plagg added that they didn't even have a lunch break. Then Adrien plays the piano on his cell phone to transform into Cat Noir and escape without anyone noticing.

Cat Noir leaves his house only to notice that Ladybug is not around. He then uses his staff to send her a voice message. Later, he waits for Ladybug, but she doesn't show up. Cat Noir checks his messages again, but she doesn't respond. She concludes that now that she is the guardian, she has more important things to do. Cat Noir then decides to start patrolling. Some fans notice him and start shouting his name. He jumped down and the boys took a few selfies with him. They thanked him and ran away. Cat Noir checks his messages again, but there were none.

Some time later, Cat Noir is sitting in the park next to Xavier Ramier, who is feeding the pigeons, and Mr. Banana, who is reading the newspaper. Cat Noir tries to make some small talk between Mr. Banana, but he ignores him. He then started talking to Xavier and tried to akumatize him so Ladybug could appear. Xavier tells him that he's actually been in a great mood lately, so Cat Noir leaves. Xavier tells him to say "hello" to Ladybug for him, to which Cat Noir agrees if she ever shows up. She checks her messages once more, but Ladybug still hasn't responded.

Cat Noir goes to Le Grand Paris for a cup of milk. Servant Jean asks how Ladybug was, considering she wasn't here. Cat Noir sighs at how peaceful it was, but then turns to Chloe and Sabrina. Chloé is upset with Sabrina because she lost her purse. Sabrina repeatedly tries to tell Chloé that she was wearing a purse, but she doesn't listen. Cat Noir gets excited and hopes that either Chloé or Sabrina or both will be akumatized. However, Chloé notices that she is carrying a purse and admonishes Sabrina for not noticing. Cat Noir giggles again and asks Butler Jean for another cup of milk.

Cat Noir is on another roof and checked his messages and Ladybug still hasn't responded. Cat Noir started to send her another voicemail, but then she heard Kagami and her mother fencing. The two were going through a lesson in not being surprised and Tomoe told her that she had to be ready for anything if she wanted to stand out against Adrien. Kagami confidently tells his mother that she wouldn't worry about him. Cat Noir then sends Ladybug another voicemail, this time telling her that the patrol is over.

Cat Noir returns to his house and detransforms. Plagg then tells Adrien not to worry as there may be a surprise in store. Adrien starts eating lunch alone. He gets a voicemail from Nathalie telling him that Tomoe has changed the fencing schedule and that they will have to go to class an hour earlier. Adrien then happily wonders what Kagami has planned for their next class.
